GuideStar -- This organization's purpose is to improve  non-profit practice by providing information that advances "transparency", enables users to make better decisions, and encourages charitable giving.   

The BBB Wise Giving Alliance -- The BBB Wise Giving Alliance helps prospective donors make decisions regarding their donations, based upon whether or not the charity meets its standards. The organization also advances high standards of conduct regarding organizations that solicit contributions from the public.
